The mission of Hazel Park Junior High is to ensure all students the opportunities and
support to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially.
Hazel Park Junior High School is a Grade 6 through Grade 8 junior high school that provides quality, diverse education. The staff at HPJH is dedicated to providing its students with excellent educational services in the areas of Math, Science, English, Social Studies, Music, Art, and Physical Education; as well as many non-traditional, creative educational opportunities. HPJH offers these educational opportunities, while maintaining an exciting and creative environment. Hazel Park Junior High is accredited by the North Central Association. North Central Accreditation means that the conditions for effective education exist in the school and assures the public at large that the school has met standards which high quality schools in the North Central Association region consider to be imperative for effective education and this it is working to improve performance for all students. The North Central Association is the largest of the country's regional accrediting agencies.

Hazel Park Junior High School Invites YouTo Join Us for a Special Presentation by Prosecutor Jessica R. Cooper on Wednesday, May 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. Prosecutor Cooper will address students and parents regarding the problems associated with cell phone & computer crimes. The presentation focuses on the laws, the social consequences, and the risk of unintended viewers/internet predators. The presentation will include a concentration on the topic of sexting [sex + texting/the transmission of sexual images between cell phones]. The Prosecutor is committed to assisting the youth and schools with addressing these problems. 2013 - 2014
