ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL POSITION AT THE HIGH SCHOOL

Letters of interest, resumes, and other supporting data will be received in the
Superintendent's Office prior to the close of the business day, July 1, 2013.

According to Board of Education Policy:
3090 ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Qualifications:
(1) Have the qualifications of a teacher in the State.
(2) Have a Master's Degree from an accredited university.
(3) Have had experience as a teacher.

Selection:
The appointment shall be by a majority vote of the Board of Education upon
the recommendation of the Superintendent. The appointment shall be initially
for a one year probationary period, then for a term fixed by the Board, not to
exceed three years. The appointee shall acquire tenure only as a classroom
teacher. After the first year, the contract shall be considered for renewal during
the year prior to the expiration of the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Shall be responsible to the building principal and shall carry out all duties
delegated and assigned by the building principal.
