The Hazel Park School District mourns the loss of high school teacher, Mr. Jason Ford. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ford family and friends in their time of sorrow.
In the wake of the stunning news of the tragic and unexpected death of a beloved Hazel Park High School teacher, Mr. Jason Ford, a crisis team is on duty at Hazel Park High School. Consisting of Social Workers, Psychologists and Counselors, the crisis team formed yesterday (02/06/12) at the first news of Mr. Ford’s passing and has been helping grieving and distraught students and staff since that time. They will remain on duty as long as necessary. A graduate of Hazel Park High School himself, Jason Ford was an immensely popular teacher and the mourning process in the schools is being augmented by the trained Hazel Park Crisis Team. Parents who have concerns with respect to their student’s handling of the trying event should contact Hazel Park High School.
