Hazel Park Schools, along with local police and fire departments, have developed emergency plans for each of the districts local educational sites. These plans provide a safer environment for students and staff within our buildings. If the evacuation of a site is necessary a plan is in place. Each building conducts at least ten (10) drills throughout the year including six (6) fire, two (2) tornado and two (2) lock down situation drills.
Details of safety procedures are not public for obvious security concerns. Hazel Park Schools would like to assure you that a plan is in place if ever needed.
